The controversy surrounding Lil Uzi Vert being billed as a headliner for Rolling Loud 2024 appears to be settled, as Future and Metro Boomin will now replace the Philly rapper at the upcoming music festival.

On Wednesday (Nov. 15), the official Rolling Loud Instagram account unveiled a new lineup for the three-day event, which is set to take place March 15-17 in Inglewood, Ca. The revamped flier, which now features Future and Metro as the marquee artists for Sunday (March 17), was released after Uzi said they never agreed to perform after being named a headliner the day prior.

“I never said I was doing rolling loud,” they wrote on their Instagram Story while reposting the original flier. “Don’t understand why my name is on here @rollingloud.” In the comments section of the new flier, Rolling Loud also announced that Future and Metro Boomin’s anticipated collaborative album will be releasing before they take the stage at the upcoming event, giving fans of the pair even more reason to rejoice.

Future and Metro Boomin have spent the better part of the past decade churning out hits while proving to be one of the more dynamic tandems in Hip-Hop. News of the pair extending their collaborative chemistry into a full capacity reached a fever pitch earlier this year, when Metro confirmed that a joint-album was in the works.

“Definitely. I would bet on it,” the 30-year-old told FLAUNT of the odds that the tentative project would be unveiled by year’s end. “I would definitely bet on it.” The Grammy Award nominee also spoke on getting back in the studio with Future, whom he performed alongside the “Wait For U” rapper’s One Big Tour stop at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

“Pluto, that’s my brother,” he explained. “We’ve been at it for a long time. This whole superhero moment, it’s like the beginning of our phase two. We haven’t had a song out since ‘Mask Off.’ They’ve been on our heads. With this, and then the whole State Farm thing, it’s starting to slowly put people on notice. We crankin’ that sh*t back up too.”

The initial lineup for Rolling Loud 2024 was first announced on Tuesday (Nov. 14), with Nicki Minaj and Post Malone named as the other headliners throughout the weekend.
